An accurate Battery Condition Monitor is an absolute must if you are doing any kind of electrical related upgrades to your car. Such as installing power hungry Audio Systems with LArge Sub-Woofers and Large Power Amplifiers.  If you battery is not up to it, you can find yourself stuck without power. This unit takes the output from your battery and displays it on 10 Indicators. It lets you know whether your car battery is in perfect health, or heading for replacement. You can mount the Indicators anywhere you like. They can be fitted right into the car's dash board. The complete circuit board is so small it can easily be concealed. This Meter displays your battery condition as a voltage from 10.5v to 15v in 0.5v increments.  If you battery with the car not started, (ignition on, but no engine) is anywhere below 11.5v, you know immediately that you need to charge the battery.  If it falls consistently below 11v you more than likely need a replacement, or you car's electronics is causing your battery to run down when no ignition power is present and you may have to correct the wiring. As you can see it is a "must have" monitor in order to keep your car running perfectly.  In addition they look great on your car's dash.

If you are not handy with a soldering iron, you can order the complete unit in a small slim enclosure that can be attached to your dash with double sided tape.

  • Battery Condition Monitor Kit of Component Parts & Instructions ($45.00)
    This kit includes a complete set of component parts. You will need some Soldering Skills in order to complete this project. You will also require a Soldering Iron, Solder and Miscellaneous Pieces of Wire.
     

    • The Kit includes: Set of Instructions, a complete set of component parts, a 12" length of Indicator hook up ribbon cable, 10 LEDs in the size and color combination of your choice comprising of Red, Green Amber & Yellow LEDs. (Blue LEDs are available in the 1.8mm styles only, at extra cost) The default size color selection is; 5mm LED Indicators, 2 Red, 4 Green, 2 Amber & 2 Yellow Indicators. Indicators are available in 4 different styles and size selections.

  • Battery Condition Monitor Kit With Ready Built PCB & Loose LEDs ($55.00)
    This kit includes a Completed Battery Condition Monitor (BCMCU)  PCB and 10 Loose LED Indicators. It also comes with installation and operational instructions. You will need some elementary Soldering Skills in order to complete this project. You will also require a Soldering Iron, Solder and Miscellaneous Pieces of Wire. All you have to do to complete the project is install the LEDs in your dash or desired location, wire the LEDs to the PCB, and connect the power. This involves the minimal amount of soldering of any of the kits.
     

    • The Kit includes: 1 Completed and fully tested custom Battery Condition Monitor (BCMCU) PCB with all components soldered in place, 10 loose LED Indicators in the size and color combination of your choice comprising of 1.8mm, 3mm or 5mm Indicators in combinations of Red, Green Amber & Yellow LEDs (Blue LEDs are available in the 1.8mm styles only, at extra cost) The default selection is; 2 Red, 4 Green, 2 Amber & 2 Yellow Indicators and installation and operation instructions.
       

    • For in-dash applications 1.8mm short lens indicators are also available in combinations of Red, Green and Yellow

       

  • Optional In-Dash Meter Services (See Below for Individual Pricing)
    The following services are available for those who wish to do the In-Dash installation but would require some assistance with certain parts of the Installation. These services are only available for the following cars:

    Audi A4, S4, A6 2.7T, VW Passat, Jetta, Golf & TDI, Nissan 300ZX.  Other cars can be evaluated on request.
     

    • Drill Tachometer Dial for 10 Indicators ($25)

    • Dry Transfer Lettering $5

    • Apply Lettering ($20)

    • Bond All 10 Indicators into place & Solder Common Anodes Together ($35)

    • Complete installation into the Bare Tachometer Dial or Complete Instrument Cluster ($130)

 

  • Battery Condition Monitor Complete in ABS Box ($65.00)
    This is a Custom made completely finished Battery Condition Monitor mounted in a convenient compact black enclosure approximately 3.1" x 1.6" x .7". The 10 Indicators can be ordered in the size and color combination of your choice comprising of 3mm or 5mm Colored Indicators, 3mm Clear Indicators, in combinations of Red, Green Amber & Yellow LEDs. The default selection is; 2 Red, 4 Green, 2 Amber & 2 Yellow Indicators. It comes complete with simple installation and operation instructions. All you have to do is find a suitable location for the meter, wire up the power and your done! The actual enclosure may differ slightly from the photos. Here are some examples of completed units.
